Its been quite the turnout for this year's Zalora Style Star awards, and your girl is part of the list. Honored to stand alongside some of the Philippines' top influencers in fashion and style. Plus, walking on the runway for the Zalora Fashion Night Out 2017 at the Glorietta activity center for designers Dennis Lustico, Ivarluski Aseron, John Herrera, and Rhett Eala. A first for this mighty fitness blogger, and definitely one for the books. I'm just happy I didn't need to wear heels for this one.

I always like taking a step back when all the smoke has died down to asses my takeaway from every experience. It's a good way to keep growing, and to be reminded to always stay grateful.
Growing up I've always been told that fashion is for the waif thin, for the fair skinned, for the tall. I am none of those things. Being part of Zalora's Style Star list is my clap back to every single one who has told us girls that we cannot be something just because we look a certain way. For telling us no because we don't fit a certain type. I share this with every singe girl who felt that they don't add up to what society calls as beautiful, as fashionable. If you are one of those girls, Here's what I have to say to you -- Don't listen to them. You can be anything you want, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made by one true creator. If I can make it up here, so can you. Contrary to what the world tries to make you believe, fashion is for everyone. It is for every singe person that dares to be themselves, and is not afraid to showcase their own brand of style. So own your style for it is yours, and yours alone. You are your own style star. Shine bright so that all the whole world can see.
